The Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine of communities has caused many households to lose their livelihood and income
SAKSHi has been distributing ration kits systematically across many pools of the jobless labour and indigent daily wagers. Many have heard of our work and and everyday we receive desperate calls for help from those whose jobs have gone and earnings have disappeared over the past month of the COVID 19 entailed National Lockdown. Today we answered such a call from Sanjay Camp in Okhla Phase2. With the support and cooperation of the SDM South East , Mr Bajaj, we were able to distribute much needed rations to 23 families who had not been able to obtain any help since the Lockdown began in March
